Responsibilities: | - To plan and execute R & D projects such as new product development and assist in existing products improvement.
- Conduct sensory evaluation of new food products to ensures meet customer needs and requirements.
- Do research on suitable ingredients to be used in the new food product and liaise with suppliers and purchaser for sourcing and screening for raw materials.
- To record results and prepare reports on sensory, trial run and other R&D activities.
- To coordinate with other departments on certain development projects.
- Stock-taking ingredients and share the information with purchaser so it does not become the dead stock.
- Regularly survey market trends to understand the current situation and do marketing survey report – product comparison
- Actively participate in food exhibitions and study sessions to improve the skills.
- Accompany business negotiations with new business partners, design, sample, and improve products, and do adjustments for product launch.
- To perform any tasks as assigned by Superior.
